The Danish Young Professionals are pleased to invite you to our next event Thursday, May 31st where Jens Eskelund, Managing Director at Maersk China Ltd., will share his perspective on government-business relations in China and his personal experiences within the field.
On Thursday, May 31st, Managing Director at Maersk China Ltd, Jens Eskelund will try to put together the critical center pieces about the Chinese economy and doing business in China by answering questions like: Why do government-business relations matter in China? How do you engage Chinese Government entities, institutions and trade associations on matters of policy, regulatory environment and business development? How do you measure your impact and how do you deal with a changing China?
Our last event of the spring season will focus on understanding China's government system, its role and the incentives of Chinese local leaders in order for you to learn how to deal with Chinese government officials when doing business in China. This will be followed by Jens Eskelund's personal career story that started with studying Chinese language in Beijing in 1998, and today, 20 years later, heading the Maersk Group's investment company in China, Maersk China Ltd.
The event will take place at Joe's Bar & Restaurant in Sanlitun, who has kindly offered happy hour until 22 and discounts on selected items on the menu throughout the evening. All you need to do is register so we know how many people to expect and come early to take advantage of the great discounts.
We look forward to seeing you all.
