How will your life look in 30 years? Will the rapid pace of technology change the way we get old? How is the idea of aging and getting old changing in China? Have you saved up for the journey beyond retirement?
These are some of the questions that form the basis for this seminar. They are great and daunting for everyone, and they are questions that many societies confront, owing to the prospect of ever growing life expectancies for their citizens and rapid technological development. In China, the traditional ways of aging are eroding and many aspects of integrated eldercare and smart city development is making its way into the long term strategy for the country.
That is why we ask - How will your life look in 30 years? And at this seminar we'll delve into this question, with our three speakers who focus on the aspects.
The event is not a traditional talk, rather it is a series of round table discussions between speakers and participants, followed by discussions in plenum.
The event is co-organized by the Danish Cultural Center in Beijing, who is also hosting the event at the beautiful confines of the center in 798 International Art District.
