In 2025, after two decades of musical collaboration, Danish jazz luminaries Sinne Eeg and Jacob Christoffersen released their first-ever duo album, SHIKIORI — a project rooted in deep musical kinship, recorded live in Japan, and resoundingly human in its spirit. In an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, Sinne Eeg and Jacob Christoffersen offer a heartfelt counterpoint: music that breathes, falters, surprises — and ultimately moves.

The artists are coming to China for their live performances of SHIKIORI. The Danish Chamber of Commerce in China (DCCC) organizes this event to create an intimate pre-show gathering with them ahead of their performance at JZ Club in Shanghai on March 26.

About the Artists:

Sinne Eeg (vocal), Jacob Christoffersen (piano, Fender Rhodes, add. Vocals).

• Sinne Eeg is widely regarded as one of Europe's leading jazz vocalists. Known for her rich tone, emotional depth, and technical command, she has released a string of acclaimed albums and earned numerous accolades, including five Danish Music Awards for Best Vocal Jazz Album and the prestigious Ben Webster Prize.
• Jacob Christoffersen is one of Denmark's most respected jazz pianists. Renowned for his lyrical style and compositional voice, he has released multiple solo albums and received the Ben Webster Prize. He has been Eeg's primary accompanist since 2008, forming a duo grounded in shared intuition and artistic trust.
