Established in 1999, the Huangyaguan Great Wall International Marathon is widely regarded as one of the world's most challenging adventure marathons. Recognized by AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races), it has become a signature event on the global running calendar. Held annually on the third Saturday of May in Jizhou District, Tianjin, the race draws thousands of professional runners and enthusiasts from around the world who come together to test their limits and experience an unforgettable journey.

Eligibility:

Participation is open exclusively to individuals holding a valid Chinese national ID card or foreign residents with a valid residence permit in China.

• Chinese participants: Please submit a clear photo of your ID card.
• International participants: Please provide a copy of your valid Chinese residence permit or visa.

Registration Instructions:

Please complete the attached GWM Registration Form and email it together with the above identity documentation to rocky@dccc.com.cn

Upon receipt of your fully completed registration form, supporting documents, and payment, the Great Wall Marathon Organizing Committee will send you an official confirmation email.

Physical wristbands (admission credentials) will be mailed to the shipping address provided in your registration form. Please ensure that your contact and delivery information is accurate and up to date.

Note: The Great Wall Marathon Organizing Committee reserves the right of final interpretation of these registration terms and conditions.

• Distance changes: Permitted up to 10 days before race day; possible on Inspection Day (May 14); not allowed on race day
• Health requirement: Do not participate if unwell (e.g., heart conditions, hypertension, cold, fever, etc.)

*Final interpretation rights belong to Albatros Adventure Marathons / Great Wall Marathon Organizing Committee.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The registrations cancelled due to participant's own reasons will be dealt according to the cancellation policy as follows,

1) 80 days before your package starts ( – 26.02.2026), 20% cancellation fee;

2) 79-63 days before your package starts (27.02.2026 – 13.03.2026), 40% cancellation fee;

3) 62-47 days before your package starts (14.03.2026 – 29.03.2026), 60% cancellation fee;

4) 46-30 days before your package starts (30.03.2026 – 15.04.2026), 80% cancellation fee;

5) Within 30 days before your package starts, No refund.

取消政策

因参赛者个人原因取消报名的，将按以下取消政策处理：

1. 在行程开始前80天以上（即2026年2月26日之前）取消，收取20%的取消费用；
2. 在行程开始前79至63天之间（即2026年2月27日至3月13日）取消，收取40%的取消费用；
3. 在行程开始前62至47天之间（即2026年3月14日至3月29日）取消，收取60%的取消费用；
4. 在行程开始前46至30天之间（即2026年3月30日至4月15日）取消，收取80%的取消费用；
5. 在行程开始前30天以内（即2026年4月16日及之后）取消，不予退款。
