Formed in 2001, The Raveonettes are a Danish indie rock duo, consisting of Sune Rose Wagner (guitar, instruments, vocals) and Sharin Foo (bass, guitar, vocals). Known for their close two-part vocal harmonies inspired by The Everly Brothers and characterized by hard-edged electric guitar overlaid with doses of noise all the right places, their music blends the charm of 1950s and 1960s rock with intense electric instrumentation, driving beats, and often dark lyrical content — exploring themes of love, lust, crime, and heartbreak. After a hiatus from 2018 to 2022, they're back with their 10th album Pe'ahi 2 and have been captivating audiences again, including a standout performance at Roskilde Festival 2025 in Denmark.
