The Danish Young Professionals in Beijing are pleased to invite you to learn more about doing business in political China. We have invited Senior Financial Advisor at the Royal Danish Embassy, Morten Kruse, and Director of International Cooperation at International Institute of Green Finance, Mathias Lund Larsen, to share their knowledge and experience of working closely with governmental institutions in China.

What is it like to represent a foreign government in China? Which challenges and opportunities, from a financial perspective, are there for foreign companies when they wish to enter China? To enlighten us on this, Senior Financial Advisor at the Royal Danish Embassy, Morten Kruse, will present how he started his political career in China and he will share his experiences with representing Denmark in China.

Contrary to above, what is it like to work closely with China politically as a foreigner? What are you allowed to do and what will you never be able to do as a foreigner working from within in a political China? To shed light on these questions, the Director of International Cooperation at the International Institute of Green Finance, Mathias Lund Larsen, will present how he created a career in politics in a Chinese organization and he will share his personal experiences of working with politics in China.

The speakers both have solid experience working politically in China, and they are excellent examples of how you can do business in political China - on each side of the negotiation table. After the presentations there will be a panel discussion, where it is possible to ask questions to both speakers.

The event will take place at Blue Marlin Bar and Restaurant, who has kindly offered a discount on selected meals and drinks throughout the evening, so make sure to come early to enjoy some good food and a drink or two.
