Reminder: Nordic Chamber Event：1st Annual Nordic Dragon Boat Tournament on June 9th

Welcome to the 1st Annual Nordic Dragon Boat Tournament in Beijing. This is the biggest Nordic event of the year, and you are invited to either participate or cheer for the teams.

Challenge your colleagues, competitors, clients and Nordic friends in a fun and interactive competition to settle which Nordic country has the best dragon boat team.

Festival grounds offer something for everyone. Spectators can take in the action and follow the excitement of racing while learning about the sport of dragon boat racing. Cheerers can enjoy a nice breakfast while supporting your favorite team and families are invited to bring their children to come spend time at the race and enjoy the outdoors.

This is a great opportunity to brand your company and at the same time do a fun activity with your team before summer vacation starts. Dragon boat racing welcomes all ages and fitness levels, so don't hesitate and join in on all the fun!

The day will start with breakfast and practice rounds for the rowers where each team will have the opportunity to sharpen their rowing skills, after that we will move on to the semi-finals, and last but not least, the big finale where the Nordic Dragon Boat Champion of 2018 will be crowned.

The 1st Annual Nordic Dragon Boat Tournament is a joint effort organized by the Danish Chamber of Commerce, SwedCham, the Finnish Business Council and the Norwegian Business Association.

Event Details:

Time: 9th June 09.00-12.00

Place: Houhai (the biggest of the three lakes)

Entry conditions: Entry for one boat (11 people - 1 captain & 10 rowers) costs 3.500 RMB and includes custom made flag, t-shirts, towels, gloves and breakfast for all 11 participants.

Family and friends come and cheer for free. Breakfast 100 RMB for cheerers.
