China has a Water Crises – how can it be solved? By speaker Mads Terkelsen While things might look brighter for China's air quality the same thing can not be said about the water situation. Water scarcity is the environmental issue that can be a game changer in China in the years to come. Water scarcity is a growing problem in China due to both an increase in water resource demands, industry pollution and climatic changes.
