About Wuhou District

Located at the south of Chengdu JinJiang River, Wuhou District was established in 1990 and is named after Wuhou Temple which is famous both at home and abroad. Wuhou District is one of the central districts of Chengdu urban areas and the high-tech area designated by the State Council.

The district area reaches 76.56 square kilometers, including 13 subdistrict offices, 87 communities and has an actual population of 1.43 million. Three leading industries of Wuhou District are cultural and creative industries, health care industry and modern services industry including financial services and e-commerce. 122 out of Fortune Global 500 including ITOCHU and Siemenz have established offices in Wuhou District, Chengdu.

成都武侯区介绍

武侯区，是成都市的中心城区，因境内的武侯祠​而得名。位于成都市城区西南部，东与锦江区隔河相望，南与高新区、双流区接壤，西与双流区相连，北与青羊区毗邻。东西向长约13千米，南北向宽约10千米，土地面积75.36平方千米，被锦江、清水河、江安河三水环抱，环境宜人。
