China's cybersecurity and data legal regime evolves in fast pace.

In 2021, two important national laws the China Data Security Law (DSL) and the Personal Information Protection Law of China (PIPL) have taken effect on 1 September and 1 November respectively. These two laws, together with the China Cybersecurity Law of China (CSL), constitute a comprehensive cybersecurity and data legal regime of China and will have significant implications for businesses.

In this webinar, Barbara Li, the Head of Corporate at Rui Bai Law Firm and a highly regarded legal expert in cybersecurity and data protection, will introduce the key concepts of the CSL, DSL and PIPL, explain how these laws will impact Danish and international businesses operating in China, and provide practical guidance on what companies should be doing for compliance and risk management.
