Speakers

  • Nils Pihl

    Nils Pihl

Nils was born in Sweden, moved to Silicon Valley, then New York, after that he founded a tech startup – traintracks - in Beijing and chances are he will stay there.
Nils Pihl argues Beijing has been a better breeding ground for his startup and for his own personal growth than Silicon Valley could be today. With the perspective of having lived in three markedly different cultures, he has come to the conclusion that Beijing might be of historical importance for the creative forces often associated with Silicon Valley - a place that according to Nils seemingly lost its way.
