Event Details

The Danish Chamber of Commerce in China (DCCC) is delighted to invite you to a grand photo exhibition with focus on Danish-Chinese cultural exchange and sister city collaborations. The exhibition will be opened by Ambassador of Denmark to China, A. Carsten Damsgaard, on Tuesday November 22nd. The exhibition is free of charge and everyone with an interest in cultural exchange are welcome.

The exhibition is compiled by Grundfos and photos are taken by Danish and Chinese photographers in China and Denmark. The exhibition presents glimpses of the photographers's experiences in visiting sister cities in Denmark and China such as Chongqing-Viborg, Beijing-Copenhagen, Harbin-Aarhus, Qingdao-Skagen and Guangdong-Region of Southern Denmark. Sister city collaboration is a cornerstone of the long history of diplomacy between Denmark and China. Over the years the two countries have enjoyed strong and friendly ties, which have been proven by several collaborations including specific initiatives within culture, sustainable solutions, energy efficiency, health and science.

This exhibition is a great chance to get insights into cultural exchange, history and landcapes of China and Denmark. The exhibition is devoted to various aspects of the sister cities including everyday life, nature, city impressions and art. There will be drinks and a pallet of appetizers for everyone as well as a free copy of a book containing the photos for all signed up participants.
