A valid visa was always needed to enter China.

However, currently there are additional challenges, not only for foreigners applying for work and residence permit, but especially for staff employed outside of China, who plan on coming to China for a shorter period of time for business purposes (for instance global managers situated in Europe, or technical staff needed for projects in China).

The process of application, and what to expect upon entering China, will be discussed in this webinar by Ann Sophie de Meester, Corporate Services Director at R&P China Lawyers. Tax liabilities that can be triggered due to employees employed oversees staying longer periods in China, will be discussed as well. Maarten Roos, Managing Director at R&P Lawyers, will also be available at the webinar, ready to answer any questions from the audience.

Following the presentation there will be an open discussion at which any related questions and/or comments are most welcome.
