Following the implementation of the Foreign Investment Law (FIL) and its regulations, the legal environment for Foreign Invested Enterprises in China changed radically. In addition, further investment and trade regulations were introduced during the past few months.
Companies established under previous legislation, in particular, the Law on Wholly Foreign-owned Enterprises (WFOE Law), the Law on Sino-foreign Cooperative Joint Ventures (CJV Law) and the Law on Sino-foreign Equity Joint Ventures (EJV Law), should adapt to the new regime.
At the same time, various stimulus packages and incentive policies have been announced by the central and local governments with the objective to promote and facilitate innovative business within the GBA.
The Danish Chamber of Commerce in China, in partnership with The British Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong, Wang Jing & GH Law Firm will deliver an interactive event to allow businesses to assess the impact of the new set of regulations and consider the measures they need to undertake to respond to challenges but also to grasp new opportunities.
