We have all heard about the Metaverse. But not everybody knows what it is, and few can clearly define what it means for foreign brands and businesses in China.
DCCC has invited two leading thought leaders and practitioners on the subject to introduce the Metaverse sharing their opinions on opportunities and risks and how foreign companies must react to a changing digital environment. This session will be held offline in Shanghai and online.
Meet Leon Zhang (Partner) and Jacob Johansen (Principal) from PwC Strategy&. Together they represent almost 50 years of hands-on experience with digitalization, digital media, brands, and user-centricity.
Leon Zhang will share a general intro to the Metaverse and the opportunities it may bring, present recent moves and cases by different brands and tech platforms and explain what it means for business. But it will not be tech and digital only. Jacob Johansen will talk about how new digital touchpoints influence what companies do in the physical world and share his view on why 'more digital' must not become a goal by itself.

A Q&A will follow the presentations, and the experts will stay on for 1:1 debate.
