As Director for the Corporate Network of The Economist Intelligence Unit, Mary Boyd has researched and published on economic development and governance issues in China. She has worked for the World Bank and other multinational institutions and has lived in China for 20 years. She has written for several Economist publications, including Country Report, China Hand and Business China as well as Taking on the Competition: Domestic Companies in China.
