The first politicians who master the tech revolution and shape it for the public good will determine what the next century will look like.

In The Middle Kingdom we are well aware that China is taking a quantum leap that is set to shift the world's balance of power. Not so many decision makers in the West however are aware that Chinese businesses are global leaders in several important sectors that are going to shape our future and will provoke significant changes to our economies, societies and politics.

Danish Chamber of Commerce in China and Danish Cultural Center take the pleasure of inviting you to a talk with Christina Boutrup, a leading Danish China analyst and former correspondent.

In her latest book "The Great Tech-revolution – How China is Shaping our Future", she underscores why all decision makers should pay attention to the Chinese tech-revolution and what companies in the West can learn from China.

The book has been endorsed by several influential business leaders including Jim Hagemann Snabe, Chairman of A.P. Møller-Maersk and Siemens, who calls it a "must read for everybody who wants to understand the extremes of digital developments".

As a journalist Christina Boutrup travelled in most parts of The Middle Kingdom and covered areas such as business, economy, environment and social issues for more than a decade as well as hosting radio- and TV-shows about China. She interviewed Alibaba's founder Jack Ma and closely followed the global expansion of Chinese companies authoring several books about business in China.
