About Thor Stadil:

Thor Stadil is the chairman of the multi-billion-dollar company Thornico, which he runs with his son Christian Stadil.

During his teenage years, Thor Stadil lived in Africa, where he received education from monks and nuns at a Catholic school in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He spent his high school years at Stenhus Boarding School in Holbæk before graduating with a law degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1971. When his father passed away in 1989, the then 45-year-old Thor took over the leadership of his father's business, which included the current egg powder company Sanovo. Today, he serves on the board of most of Thornico's numerous companies.

Thornico which today consists of more than 130 companies, includes hummel, Sanovo Technology Group as well as Lactosan and OVODAN, Lactosan Sanovo Ingredients Group.
