SPEAKERS and PANELISTS

  • Jens Eskelund is the President of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC), as well as Chief Representative at A.P. Moller – Maersk. Through both roles, he has developed extensive experience engaging with a wide range of Chinese institutions on matters of policy, regulatory environment and business development.
  • Simon Lichtenberg is the Advocacy Chair of Danish Chamber of Commerce in China, Founder & CEO of Trayton Group. He is a Danish entrepreneur passionate about doing business in China and designing and manufacturing quality furniture. Today, the company Simon Lichtenberg started, Trayton Group owns and operates manufacturing plants in China, Mexico and Vietnam. His company has continued to see large success.
  • Weisi Xie is the Shanghai Director at the Economist Enterprise Corporate Network. He works with top executives in the region on key economic and political issues. His work has been published in major economic policy publications, and he has cooperated extensively with think tanks and international organizations, including the Shanghai Institute for National Economy and the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva Switzerland.
  • Peter Bøgh Hansen is the Director of Sense China. Peter oversees Sense China in Shanghai. Having lived and worked in China for more than 20 years, he is a political analyst, media commentator, keynote speaker, author, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in international relations and public affairs. He has delivered more than 200 briefings to companies and organizations, sharing insights into China's technological development and its implications for global trade and business.
